Geoff joined Melford towards the end of 2008 as Coach and has had his coaching badge for 27 years. Worked in London at several schools and adult institutes gaining much experience along the way. Then moved to Saturday football with Tower Hamlets, Chingford and Stambridge F.C. to name a few. Geoff has worked with John Lyle (West Ham) and Don Howe (Arsenal & England). Appointed Manager in October 2009.

JASON MAHER

Joined the club in November 2009. Jason comes to Melford after suffering a bad injury which stopped him playing. He has a wealth of experience, knowledge and contacts in football having played at different levels for different clubs and has also played under Geoff’s management before.

Paul made 31 1st Team appearances for Halstead Town last season prior to signing for Melford in February 2009. Spent 4 years at Tottenham Hotspur where he progressed from their youth team to become a full-time professional. After leaving Spurs he had spells at Barnet, Stevenage Borough and Hornchurch. |

Errol played for the LMFC Colts teams, then played U18s and reserve team football at Melford before breaking into the 1st Team in the 2005/06 season. In 2006/07 he had his best season at Melford to date when he won the 1st Team Supporters’ Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards. |

Gary joined Melford in August 2009. Former Maldon Town, Tiptree United and Arlesford Colne Rangers player, can play anywhere across the back four but feels centre half is his best position. Has also played central midfield.
