The club is pleased to announce that Katie McLernon has joined the 1st Team setup as Physio. Due to Katie's other commitments she joins Melford on a part time basis, Manager Geoff Cleal is therefore still looking to appoint a full time physio. We welcome Katie to Long Melford FC and hope she has an enjoyable time here.

Introducing Katie...

" I am studying a Bsc (hons) Physiotherapy degree at Brighton University and am half way through my second year. I eventually want to be a physio in the field of sporting injuries so am glad of the opportunity to get some experience early on.

I love the Uni life, you can't beat a good student night, especially when it's fancy dress which I take very seriously! I enjoy horse riding, skiing, socialising and working out. I play mixed lacrosse for the uni team and am about to take a coaching course for it.

As far as football is concerned, I can appreciate a good game and support Chelsea but am no die hard fan so don't expect any in depth analysis of a match from me! "
