RESULTS FORECAST: There were no winners last week in the Results Forecast so the prize fund for this week should be in excess of £100. Forms are available in the clubhouse at training on Thursday or at the 1st Team match v March Town United on Saturday.

CRICKET NETS: The club has strong links with Long Melford Cricket Club, including Richard Kemp, Richard Powell and Ashley Skeggs who are already involved with both clubs, and we would like to encourage more people at LMFC to join the cricket club for the 2010 season.

Long Melford CC Press Release: It has been announced that Indoor Nets for Long Melford and District Cricket Club will be starting on Saturday January 30th at Cornard Sports Centre times 1pm to 3pm. All existing members welcome and any newcomers to the area who are looking for a Club. In particular due to players moving back overseas the Club is keen to find a couple of strike bowlers for the first team, and any other cricketers to complement the five Senior teams the Club will be running during the coming season. If you fancy a change from your existing Club you will find a warm welcome at Long Melford Cricket Club.The Club also has a fine Junior setup with regular coaching for youngsters and after the success of the teams in the Youth Cricket League will be hoping to increase on the number of teams from last season, so young players are very welcome also.
