FA VASE AND FA YOUTH CUP DRAWS RELEASED (July 01, 2009)
Melford have received a bye in the FA Vase First Round Qualifying and will be at home to Whitton United in the Second Round Qualifying on Saturday 19 September 2009.
Whitton withdrew from the Ridgeons Premier Division last season but were re-elected into Division One at the league's recent AGM.
A win against Whitton would set up another home tie against Woodbridge Town or Great Yarmouth Town or Desborough Town in the First Round Proper.
In the FA Youth Cup, Melford's youngsters have the rare opportunity to play at a Conference ground - Melford will travel to Histon in the Preliminary Round (tie to be played week commencing 7 September).
If Melford are able to pull off a shock win at Histon they will be at home to March Town United or King's Lynn in the First Round Qualifying. A win against March or Lynn at Stoneylands would set up another home tie against Fakenham Town or Cornard United or Woodbridge Town. Click here to return to the News page
