RESERVES FINISH THEIR SEASON TONIGHT AT HAVERHILL ROVERS (April 25, 2008)
Photobucket

Long Melford Reserves will finish their 2007/08 season tonight at Ridgeons Reserve Teams Division (South) champions Haverhill Rovers. The match kicks off at Hamlet Croft (pictured above) at 7.45pm.

Haverhill won 3-1 at Melford back in January, and last season thrashed us 6-0 at Hamlet Croft. It will therefore be a tough match for Ryan Owens' side tonight but they will be looking to finish the season on a high.

Although Melford's form has dropped off since Christmas, with 1 win from their 12 matches in that period, they will still finish the season a minimum of  8 points better off than in 2006/07.

An incredible figure of 20 players have scored for the Reserves this season, with Luke Simpson and David Kenyon the current joint top scorers on 3 each.
