GOOD NEWS ON WHITTON UNITED MIDFIELDER RICHARD REES' INJURY (April 24, 2008)
The club is happy to report that yesterday's announcement on the website that Whitton United midfielder Richard Rees would be in hospital for 6 weeks ,after injuring himself in Saturday's match at Melford, was incorrect.
The injury is less serious than we initially thought. Richard suffered a crushed pelvis, not a fractured pelvis as was originally stated, and he has already been released from hospital.
We wish Richard a speedy recovery and hope he will be back playing football again very soon.
