The euphoria of Saturday's performance at Diss now seems a distant memory as Chris has been offered and accepted the post of manager at Stanway where he started his career as a 16 year old.

To keep you all in the picture I received an email asking for permission to speak to Chris and we had to grant this although having advertised the post find it hard to come to terms there is a need at this level of football to pinch another club's manager.

Having said that Chris is going back to his roots and you cannot blame him for that.

It has been a very difficult season for us all and when you are down you get it from all corners but I am sure with all the talent we have at our disposal we can rise above yet another setback and look onwards and upwards.
